According to the official project description, UBM is developing Timber Praha, the Czech Republic's first sustainable residential buildings constructed using timber. The project is part of Arcus City in the Stodůlky district of Prague and comprises 62 residential units. The development is complemented by a sustainable energy concept incorporating geothermal energy, heat pumps, and photovoltaics.
A site plan exists for the project, documenting the intended integration of the monitoring system into the construction project. This demonstrates that Monitorix® was considered from the outset as a supplementary security layer within this innovative timber housing project.
On the outside, it's a modern, greened timber building with spacious balconies and an urban feel; inside, it's a bright, warm living space with exposed wood surfaces and a high-quality atmosphere. It's immediately apparent that this is not only a sustainable building, but also a place of exceptional living comfort. The combination of timber construction, energy efficiency, and a contemporary living concept makes the project particularly compelling.
